SUMMARY:18th Legal Congress of the Malaga Bar Association
DESCRIPTION:Abogacía de Málaga (Málaga Bar Association) is organizing its 18th Legal Congress\, a key event for the legal sector that will take place on November 2nd and 3rd at the Málaga Convention Center. This edition will bring together over a hundred speakers who will provide content in 16 expert panels\, 21 lectures\, 8 roundtable discussions\, 10 workshops\, and 4 testimonies. \nThis annual gathering has become a reference point for lawyers\, judges\, and thousands of legal professionals from across the country. It serves as a platform for debate and reflection on current issues\, fostering maximum participation and interdisciplinarity\, with over 1500 registered attendees already. \nThe main novelty this year will be the inclusion of four direct testimonies\, organized by the subcommittees on Penitentiary Law\, Immigration\, Gender Violence\, and Minors.

SUMMARY:XIV INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS FOR THE STUDY OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
DESCRIPTION:During these days\, the scientific programme will be divided into papers and thematic round tables that will deal with aspects related to different thematic areas\, which this year have as a common thread the slogan: “Gender Violence: a social problem in the 21st century”. \nAs in previous editions\, the aim is to take a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to the concept of gender violence in its different manifestations and the different acts through which this violence is exercised. The main objective of this new edition is to address the concept of gender violence as a social problem\, an extremely serious problem that affects society as a whole. On the other hand\, it aims to advance in the awareness and involvement of men in its prevention and eradication. To this end\, the new challenges for eradicating gender violence and the different dimensions of gender violence will be analysed\, paying special attention to children and adolescents and people with disabilities. On the other hand\, digital violence\, gender violence in sport\, social factors that influence gender violence and the evaluation of public policies on gender violence will be addressed.
