“ME CUESTA TANTO OLVIDARTE HOMENAJE A MECANO” is the tribute concert to the most important Spanish pop band. A show that offers the audience an exact reproduction of MECANO, making it a musical spectacle. The aim of the show is to create the sensation of seeing MECANO live.
BELEN ALARCÓN’s physical and vocal resemblance to Ana Torroja makes her the best double in the world and is undoubtedly the key to success and what sets the band apart from any other tribute band.
The band, made up of top level musicians, performs live all of MECANO’s hits: “Aire”, “Un año más”, “Hoy no me puedo levantar”, “El 7 de Septiembre”, “Dalí”, “Me cuesta tanto olvidarte”, “La fuerza del destino”, “No es serio este cementerio”, “Una rosa es una rosa”, “Hijo de la Luna”, “Maquillaje”, “Barco a Venus”, “Ay que pesado”, “Cruz de navajas”, “No hay marcha en Nueva York”, “Perdido en mi habitación”, “Haway Bombay”, “Mujer contra mujer”, “Me colé en una fiesta”, etc. The songs are performed with 100% respect for the original arrangements and the musical and instrumental line-up.
