29th Congress UGT FICA

Twenty-ninth Federal Congress of UGT FICA, which we held on 11,12 and 13 in the city of Malaga under the slogan Now more industry.

UGT FICA is made up of the industrial sectors of this country: the Agri-Food sector, the Capital Goods and ICT sector, the Construction and Mining sector, the Energy and Water sector, the Automotive sector, the Chemical, Textile and Graphic Arts sector, and the Iron and Steel sector. These sectors are the guarantee of quality employment and stability, as well as being the driving force behind the rest of the economy.

At this 29th Congress, the fundamental programme, internal regulations and statutes are being debated, as well as the action programme to be developed over the next four years, which must lay the foundations to achieve improvements in employment and occupational health, to guarantee a fair and orderly transition of the industry, in which equality and workers’ rights are paramount. In this Congress we also celebrate the 120 years of history of the Federation, in order to project ourselves into the future with new proposals, adapting our demands to the new needs of the workers.
