NOVENA SINFONÍA, Beethoven & CONCIERTO DE ARANJUEZ, Rodrigo
23/02/2027 -20:00h
The Orchestra and Choir of the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre – Ministry of Culture of Ukraine present a musical evening featuring two great works from the classical repertoire: Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez.
Two great timeless masterpieces.
Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, with its immortal ‘Ode to Joy’, is a powerful cantata that has become a favourite with audiences and one of the most frequently performed classical works by international orchestras.
It will be accompanied by Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez. You will feel the rhythm of Andalusia, its music and its traditions through the guitar of soloist Rolando Saad, who achieves the impossible: conveying, through the strings, the happy days spent in the gardens of Aranjuez, the dialogue with nature and the joyful spirit of the work.
