FYCMA adds three new trade fairs to its calendar for the last quarter of the year
PiscinaSpain fair, from October 8 to 10, Design Week Málaga, from October 23 to 27, and the Feria del Campo 4.0 – Expo Agritech, from November 26 to 28, are new additions to the FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga) trade fair calendar for the last part of 2024
Málaga, July 29, 2024.- FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga), part of Malaga City Council, is expanding its trade fair calendar with three new events to be held from October until the end of the year. These additions, which enrich the offering of specialized professional events, include PiscinaSpain, from October 8 to 10, Design Week Málaga, from October 23 to 27 at the venue, and Feria del Campo 4.0 – Expo Agritech, from November 26 to 28.
PiscinaSpain is a biennial business event dedicated to next-generation pools and smart water management, focusing on sustainability. Organized by Nebext and expecting over 7,000 industry professionals, it positions itself as an innovation forum that will make Málaga the epicenter of technology for efficient and sustainable pool and water resource management.
Meanwhile, Design Week Málaga is the first direct trade fair for architects, construction companies, interior designers, and brands. Launched in 2021, Design Week, aims to create a showcase for industry professionals, offering an immersive way to display all the latest trends and innovations across different categories, such as high-end residential design and construction, interior design, contract, and retail.
The Feria del Campo 4.0 – Expo Agritech, also organized by Nebext, is a technological and industrial event aimed at the agricultural sector, bringing together experts to enhance the competitiveness and productivity of agricultural operations. It will provide a space for agri-food innovation and technology aimed at SMEs in the industry.
These events join a calendar that, starting in September, will host new editions of specialized sector forums organized by FYCMA, such as Greencities & S-Moving, Urban Intelligence and Smart Mobility, on September 24 and 25; Simed, Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition, from November 7 to 9; and Leadingirls, on December 3 and 4.
Regarding external trade shows, a new edition of Seatrade Cruise Med, on September 11 and 12, will return. This major Mediterranean cruise industry event is coming back to Málaga after its 2022 edition, and Andalucía TRADE Global 2024 will take place on November 13 and 14.
In the category of major public exhibitions related to consumption and leisure, Motor Málaga, the 2nd National Pre-Owned Vehicle Fair, will be held from November 15 to 17.
Trade fairs held in the first half of the year
FYCMA’s trade fair calendar, which began in January with the Retro Auto & Moto, Classic, Vintage, and Collector Vehicle Show from January 27 to 29, has been dominated by sectors and themes related to the automotive world, innovation and technological development, as well as business generation and opportunities. A total of ten events have brought together more than 74,000 professionals and visitors, with participation from over 1,300 companies and exhibiting entities.
In February, one of the most established sectoral fairs in this calendar, H&T, Innovation Summit for the Hospitality Industry, was held on February 5, 6, and 7, exceeding all expectations with one of its largest editions. At the end of this month, the Provincial Association of Transport Entrepreneurs (APETAM) held a new edition of its annual event.
In March, the Employment Fair, organized by the Municipal Institute for Training and Employment (IMFE) of the Málaga City Council, took place on March 12, aiming to promote and energize the local labor market. Following this, from March 20 to 22, Transfiere, European Meeting on Science, Technology and Innovation, consolidated its status as the reference meeting for the national innovation ecosystem.
Between April and May, EVO NXT 2024 was held on April 5 and 6, and Guadalindie, the Andalusian video game fair, took place on May 3 and 4. June was the month of innovation with DES-Digital Enterprise Show on June 11, 12, and 13, and CM Málaga, Culture & Museums International Tech Forum, the leading event in the cultural sector, was held on June 17 and 18. Finally, Talent Land España, held on July 3, 4, and 5, marked the conclusion of FYCMA’s trade fair calendar for the first half of the year.
