CONCERT FOR ZAPATA AND ORCHESTRA, will be a festive, fun and hooligan “Shownconcert”, where we will parody some of the “clichés” of classical music, supported by the elegant codes of humour of Paco Mir. But it will also be a concert where the audience will enjoy excellent music, as it could not be otherwise. Rossini, Beethoven, Verdi, Mozart, will be the star composers of the evening, and among them, many surprises to be revealed.

Who is it aimed at? Everyone. Lovers of classical music and orchestra subscribers will have a good time, and will see themselves reflected in many of the gags. Neophytes who are approaching an auditorium for the first time will also enjoy it, because they will enjoy classical music…. better said… good music, introduced by humour.

In Spain, until now, when shows with the formula humour + classical music have been staged, they have always featured groups of poor quality, and this fusion has been considered as something marginal and unsuitable for serious auditoriums. And it is quite the opposite. Humour is very serious. So serious that ensembles such as the Berliner Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, Israel Philharmonic, or London Philharmonic, have performed shows of this kind.

The duration of the show will be between 65 and 75 minutes without intermission, and my promise is that in that time there will not be a single second for the well-known DCC (collective cerebral disconnection).
