Information on preventive health and hygiene measures implemented by FYCMA.

FYCMA, in its commitment to promote the development of trade fair and congress activities with the maximum possible guarantees, informs its users that the venue’s management is reinforcing preventive hygiene measures, which are specified in the following actions:

Distribution of dispensers with hydroalcoholic hand gel in different points of its facilities, including the toilets of the main operational areas, rooms and work spaces.

Expansion of cleaning services and actions with the implementation of additional disinfection measures, especially in high contact areas.

Dissemination through its different channels and supports, both physical and virtual, of the recommendations issued by the competent health authorities (referred to below).

In addition, and in order to identify and act with solvency in the face of potential risk situations, it has established a protocol coordinated with the company providing the health services in accordance with the indications of the relevant authorities.

This protocol includes the allocation of specific resources for the immediate separation and isolation of persons suspected of having been exposed to biological risk agents, the protection of the professionals involved in such intervention, as well as the execution of the decontamination, maintenance and waste disposal processes involved.

FYCMA also reminds its users of the importance of taking extreme care with individual hygiene measures, such as:

Wash your hands with soap and water often or alcohol-based gel you can find at entry points and toilets.

Cover the airways with a tissue or with your elbow bent (not with your hands) when sneezing or coughing.

Throw the tissues once used, into the trash can.

FYCMA has a medical service for primary care of people who need it. If you feel sick, please contact our staff to accompany you to the medical service.

Avoid close contact with people with flu-like symptoms.

FYCMA’s management, in coordination with the departments and areas directly involved, is constantly monitoring the indications conveyed by the competent authorities and bodies in order to adapt these procedures according to the circumstances.

In the case of external organisers, it remains at their disposal to evaluate those initiatives and additional measures according to the needs of each event.
