Sustainability and positive legacy events
We are experts in developing events under sustainability criteria, integrating practices linked to the circular economy, the ‘zero waste’ philosophy, minimum environmental impact and the promotion of a greener future.
Key actions for a green future
Discover our main initiatives to promote a green future. From the promotion of renewable energies to the commitment to the circular economy and the reduction of the carbon footprint.

01.
Renewable solar energy
We have two solar photovoltaic plants with a flow contribution to the general grid and partially connected to the transformers of the air-conditioning plant of the site to promote self-sufficiency.

02.
Adherence to the main certifications
Our certifications in environmental, energy and sustainability management at events guarantee a permanent commitment to the evaluation, identification of areas for improvement and updating of our environmental policies.

03.
Innovation to be more efficient
We optimise resources and consumption by continuously improving our facilities and equipment to contribute to energy efficiency and savings.

04.
Circular economy
We implement circular economy practices to reduce waste, reuse materials and maximise the life cycle of products and materials.

05.
Carbon footprint
We calculate and analyse the greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the organisation and execution of events in order to introduce reduction and compensation measures.

06.
Sustainable digitalisation
We adopt digital technologies in our processes to reduce the use of paper, optimise resources and minimise our environmental impact.

07.
Waste management
We implement a rigorous waste segregation policy to maximise recycling possibilities.

08.
Zero Waste
We are committed to minimising food waste through responsible practices aimed at optimising service and utilising any surplus.

A shared goal
Find out how we help our clients organise more sustainable events, from personalised advice to the implementation of eco-friendly practices in every detail. Count on us to help you achieve your goal. In the meantime, here are the keys to sustainable events.
- 1
Carry out a plan for optimising energy resources and adopt measures for the reuse and recycling of materials.
- 2
Take water consumption into consideration. Opt for drinking fountains and jugs, and bear in mind that our facilities have specific water-saving measures in high-demand areas such as toilets.
- 3
Inform your event’s audience about sustainable mobility options. FYCMA is connected to the city centre by several city bus lines, has a suburban train station in the vicinity from the municipalities of the west coast and offers the possibility of parking bicycles and scooters near the entrance.
- 4
Prioritise digital support in communication and promotion actions.
- 5
Raise awareness and inform your collaborators, partners or suppliers about sustainability principles and good environmental practices. We can support you in the management of the coordination of business activities in the assemblies between the different participating companies.
- 6
Consider the possibility of incorporating green areas and spaces in the assembly.
- 7
In the catering and restaurant section, work with adjusted figures to avoid surpluses. If this is not possible, identify authorised entities to propose measures to make use of them. Prioritise menus with seasonal and local products and avoid as far as possible the use of plastic in kitchenware and cutlery.
- 8
Propose a solidarity action aligned with the objectives of your event. Identify like-minded organisations that can carry it out with all the guarantees.
- 9
Evaluate the application of these practices at the end of the event and analyse its impact on the environment to detect areas for improvement. At FYCMA we can help you measure the carbon footprint of your event.
